My role as musical director on this show was to define the overall musical concept and aesthetic, a rewarding process given the wide range of moods, from playful, childlike moments to more intense, dramatic passages. Besides leading the music team, as lead composer, I composed and arranged most of the soundtrack, and I also directed the actors in their vocal performances for several songs in the series.

For twelve seasons, I was responsible for composing and arranging the original music for DPA, the most watched children’s TV show in Brazil. The series blends drama, fantasy, humor, and suspense, resulting in a highly diverse musical landscape that led me to work across a wide range of styles. As musical director, I also regularly directed the cast in their vocal performances for the show’s songs.
